Hoeing

Hoeing is the operation to earth the deepest ground up in order to garantee the air change of the ground. It is usually carried out before fertilisation, so that the fertilizer could go deeper in the ground and increase plants’ fertility.

Lotti suggests two tools for hoeing, each of them mountable on every in-row cultivators: the share, to have a deeper and more precise soil opening, and the disc unit, available in various models, to act quickly and strongly.
