Caba Industrie – after the success gained at Fieragricola in Verona – is pleased to announce its flagship novelty for 2024, the Lotti fruit thinner.
The thinning machine was created with the aim of reducing the costs of manual thinning in orchard, especially on peaches, apricots and plums. After many tests carried out on these cultures, there was a reduction in thinning costs ranging from 60% to 80% compared to when this operation is done manually.
The fruit thinner DRF 300 is equipped with a rotor whose speed is adjustable between 8 and 20 rpm, adjusting the hydraulic oil flow rate that supplies the tool. To achieve thinning, the thinner is equipped with over 1000 nylon splinters, easily replaceable in case of breakage or detachment.
To better support the thinning machine and its movements, a new trimmer – the CT 80 – was also designed to be mounted on the front lift, as well as to perform numerous inclinations to facilitate the entry and exit from the row and the penetration of the thinner into the leaf canopy. The CT 80 can also be used with other tools of Lotti range, such as dry-cut bars, flower thinner or sweeper.
As the season of thinning the fruits is approaching, Caba Industrie considers it appropriate to make known its novelty product now, so that the quality standards to which the company has accustomed its customers can once again be confirmed by the on-field experience.
